About Me
Standing in the One World Trade Centre Transportation Hub in 2019, I remember feeling both grounded and expanded – a moment suspended between the life I had built in media and advertising, and the quite pull toward something more personal. I had spent most of my adult life in that fast-paced industry: high energy, tight deadlines, brilliant people and endless opportunities to create. It shaped me. It gave me a foundation I still rely on today.
But life shifted. Two young children, the pressure of time and the constant juggle made me realise I needed to step back. What I thought would be a short pause become an unexpected doorway into a completely different world. I began exploring self-development, taking online life coaching courses and opening myself to ideas that had nothing to do with campaigns or clients – and everything to do with growth, presence and inner clarity. I guess you could also say I was circling back to the degree I completed in Psychology at Rhodes University in 1996.
Then Covid arrived. The world slowed down and for the first time in years, I could give my children my full attention – though they will both tell you they were thrilled to return to their teachers! That season stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. I tried new ventures, experimented with different paths and discovered a deeper appreciation for stability, monthly income and the privilege of work that feels both meaningful and manageable.
Eventually I found my way back to my roots – back to the media world that shaped me – but I returned with a different lens. I now carry a reverence for balance, for flexibility and for the kind of growth that doesn’t require abandoning the life I’ve built.
This website is an expression of that balance.
It’s not a replacement for my fulltime career.
It’s not a hustle that demands more than I can give.
It’s a curated digital lifestyle space where I share the tools, habits and insights that have genuinely enriched my life – from performance tech that supports wellbeing, to daily habits that build consistency, to growth platforms that expand what we believe is possible.
I believe in the stability of a monthly salary.
I also believe in the freedom of building something of my own.
This space allows me to honour both.
Thank you for taking the time to join me. I wish you love and self-fulfillment.
